(Not sure if best place for this, if wrong please move mods)

So I was in town, and spotted the CGL Battletech Introductory Box Set.
I didn't know this was available here, and hadn't specifically ordered it because I don't know anyone who wants to play anything other than Warhammer / WarmaHordes. (A touch of X wing now).

But it was a sensible price and had rules + 26 mechs, and now it's mine.

Which leaves me with the question, where can I get sensibly priced mechs in the UK (and the associated rulebooks).
And what is considered a sensible price?

Any mechs are good, but I especially want a Locust(s), Raven(s) and Urbanmech(s).

Well Ovion,

I would reccomend using either http://www.thewarstore.com/ or http://ironwindmetal...store/index.php

As both offer a great slection.

Both give me an idea of 'standard pricing', but both charge US$20+ for delivery to the UK. :(

US$40 (GB£28) for 1 Urb and 1 Locust... :(

I buy some of my miniatures from Ral Partha Europe, http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/, I haven't been too disappointed with them although the selection is somewhat lacking in comparison to IronWind Metals, despite the fact that they are part of the same company, but it's UK based so postage is cheap. It also has some of the ruleboooks, not all of them (atleast I think they don't sell all the rulebooks) if not you can get the rulebooks off of Amazon.

I ultimately found Ral Partha.

Picked up the rulebook at 60% off, a Locust, Urbanmech and Mad Dog.

Will pick up more later, probably a Raven(s), Cauldron Born and such.

I also keep my eye on Ebay, and recently made an especially good find. :P

I know right!

10 Unseen mechs (Locust, Stinger, Wasp, Phoenix Hawk, Griffin, Wolverine, Shadowhawk, Crusader, Thunderbolt, Archer), plus 10 other original FASA plastics, for £30!

Then with the Startre kit, a couple of Ebay finds and the Ral Partha order, I'm at 51 mechs now.

That's a gret start!
