I should probably add that while the Panther is another slow light with low-slug weapons, the hitboxes could be brokenly good like on other mechs and therefore make this thing a beast. But that applies to any mech. Look how everyone hated the "unkillable" Spider back in the day.

Or the good Myst Lynx pilots... I've ran through a full firing line of a 12man top team premade in one and came out hurting but largely unaffected.

Personally, I think the 35t Panther might become the best and lightest poptart the game will see, based on the Resistance variant. However until we know what the quirks are on the other variants, most likely a normal PPC quirk and a LL quirk one, then I think it'll be interesting. It might replace dual ERLL sniper light's or provide a mixed range loadout to play a reasonable heavy/assault guard like the Adder or Kitfox at present, but less bulky and more slender.

The panther has a slim build. +1 to survivability?

+1 to someone trying to fit lrms in that thing.

From the video here, the Panther looks like it'll have a similar though slightly smaller silhouette as the Firestarter: http://mwomercs.com/...pdate-02132015/

Missiles in the torso? Check. Energy on the arm? Check. Below average movement? Check.

Pseudo-Valkyrie confirmed.
