solo droppers even small groups are having a negative impact on CW, a pug team stands little chance against a prefab this has made CW pretty pointless to me as i rarely manage to find more than 3 people willing to take part or 11 pugs that will work as a team.
the other side effect of this is planetary loss due to pug teams getting stomped on. having managed to get into a 10 man team the other day we managed to successfully defend 2 planets yay my first CW victories woo!!, unfortunately 2 days later we lost them because we only had a small team of pugs to defend them which i was part of i try'd taking command but to no avail managed to get a lance together on team speak but the other 8 players all had their own idea of how to win the match which didn't include coms or team work so failed epically leaving my lance to at the least drag out the defeat (soul destroying).
so what to do about it well i've had a couple of thoughts
firstly build some coms into the game just like on those console games like cod where every one in the lobby can talk to each other, trying to get a team together on team speak as well as the game is hard work and takes the fun out of the game making it more of a chore than a pleasure this would make life for the regular prefab teams a little more challenging we got voip written into the program lets make better use of it
secondly a solo/small group cue for cw like we used to have in the main game probably tricky to bring into the game but it could do with it
thirdly all those planets on the out side of the clan map send the pugs out to them let the pugs scout out and try and get a territorial foothold on those unclaimed worlds give us something to do with out hurting our factions campaign

Last pugging I did whatever the largest group on my side asked for and went 5-2. One loss was against a 12 man but they got lucky, they were attacking Sulfer and only had 2 mechs left when the gun popped. Was a fun match, think we would have them had we played again.
Just keep on making maps PGI and CW will be fine.

I'm going to pretend you actually watched the latest town hall and are aware that VoIP is coming in February along with faction chat, and that faction grouping is coming too.

The CW CF is a work in progress, with much TWERKING up and down yet to go.
Until That Day!
