I buy MC, but in the Halloween and Holiday events the thing I as always jazzed to get was MC, and 20 mc with no cap? that's brilliant!
Thanks PGI, this year in MWO is off to a amazing start.

Still requires you to score OVER 130 in their formula for 100 games to get the cap. Its not a bad event and not a super great one either. I'm not looking forward to the drop in quality of matches though...

The requirements are pretty low and it doesn't require a win.
Nothing will need to change really, unless you're bad at farming assists.

Really not complaining.

Seriously, what is the deal with people these days? things have improved dramatically of late, and even more dramatically if compared to this time last year. Yet instead of throwing the devs some thank yous and credit for turning this big-ass game around it's just btich, btich, btich.

Except kill stealing. You don't want the kill in this format, which causes completely different problems.

Sweet! Cuz I'll have 2004 (if I score all the available MC)!
And yeah, no matter what, people will complain. If they simply gave everyone 2k MC, there would be those that complained it wasn't 2.5k or 3k (or more). Some people are just never happy.

Also, only a stupid person would stop shooting mech because they were afraid too kill it. You get paid for damage, too, and you should be pulling 200+ points per match unless you are really really drunk.

Yes, but making that up via damage requires an additional 150 damage. Not likely unless you cause an ammo explosion or get a long series of crits before destroying the Mech.
Of course, 7 assists is pretty trivial in a win. Getting to 130 points in a loss is trickier, and really depends on your team to at least do SOMETHING. No one's getting 130 points in a 0-12 stomp loss.

So, 33% of games should qualify for the average player I'd think.
(looks over the records from the Like a Champion) Looks like 36 out of those 121 would probably have qualified (it didn't record damage so I'm guessing). So, more like 25%.

The kill stealing promotes poor teamwork and gameplay. During the last event I saw way too many rolls occur during a team jumping on an injured opponent to get a kill for it, which would result in poor scores during this event with low damage and assists. Or this could be like the assist-apocalypse that occurred during a previous event where people would tap as many opponents as they could and then just go to town on as many components as possible without killing them, resulting in many avoidable negative results for the team.
As I said, I'm not complaining about the event, I'm complaining about the many players whose idiocy will surface due to it.

What ever I am thankful for this event and will farm as much Mc as I can get.
