Why not have a screen where we have 4 or 5 mechs readied and when we get dropped out of a match we go to taht screen and can immediately launch one of our qued up mechs?

I like being Spartan
I have my Units Colors
enough Mechs to form a Drop Deck
Almost enough Modules to equip them all.
Profit.

I would go so far as to require you to preload your mechs into the drop ship to even enter into a group queue unit - even if your drop ship has only a single mech - and you would have to leave the group before you can change out your drop selections, or their configurations.
There are always a few guys who hold up the groups while they are playing in the mechlab, going to the store, etc... better if they only had a couple of quick choices available while inside the group.
This way the individuals who like to change things all of the time will not be holding up the groups when everyone else wants the group to just for the Love of God will you please just f****** launch already?

Well, still.
I saw a post somewhere on here about a person who made a photoshop. In that, beside each mech pic was like 3 boxes or so, 1 had the modules, 1 was the cockpit items, 1 was the skins. Seems like it would be alot easier to simply let us click a little button on the mech's pic to go right to the section we want and edit it as we see fit.
No need for this convoluted, round about, multi click step procedure we have now. I have 6 mechs and when I swap my 2 Cool down modules about, I find THAT alot more tedious then it should be...
ITs Mechlab, WHK B...configure, modules, click n drag, save, home, mech lab, WHK-P, configure, modules, look for hte module, unequip PPC CD mod, equip LPL5 CD mod...save....home, mechlab, WHK-B, configure, modules, look for PPC5, equip mod, save...home.....
Dear god.....
Instead, why cant we have it......Mechlab, WHKB, at the bottom of the page or somewhere is the modules equipped on that mech, I mean, like World of Tanks has it......where you can readily see everything you have equipped on your tank.....you can readily swap modules, crew, equipment, consumables.......I can equip 3 tanks, from the buy menu, to crew, fully tricked out in top modules, desired equpment, ammo, consumeables and camo all in the time it takes me to do 2 mechs just for the MOdules in MWO....Heaven help you if you also are wanting to swap guns and stuff around in MWO....if it just so happens another mech has the gear you want? 10 more steps just to unequip the guns, then 10 more to get them on the mech you want....

Hit save.
Hit home.
Hit mech lab.
Hit weight class.
Hit configure.
Hit modules.
Remove module.
Hit save.
Hit home.
Hit mechlab.
Hit weight class.
Hit configure.
Hit modules.
Put module in.
Hit save.
Ahhh, simple and natural feeling UI.

Maybe that explains why I burned through two Logitech G710+ in less than six months...
Here's hoping my G910 Orion last longer.
As for the UI, I really do miss UI1.5. It was so much better in every way, as clunky as it was.
I mean look at this. Readable font sizes, hover over location / hard point placements. I really wish I had more screen shots of the mechlab.
