In general, what do you think about traps as part of MWO. I suggested as a defensive item a single shot SRM-2 Launcher and a laser beam rigged as a trap. I'm sure some of you might have ideas for traps, or may be against the idea. Opinions, comments, or suggestions for traps of some sort are welcome.

If it's not a part of BattleTech canon, most people will be against having it in this game.

Land mines are a possibility, but I don't know if there are BattleMechs with land mine dispensers.

LRM FASCAM "Thunder" ammunition.
Those and well placed vibromines were a great way in TT to form the battlefield.

While the idea may not be in any official manual from Battletech, traps have always been used in history, and I see that Battletech would also include some kind of traps to slow an enemy down.
