Pro tip:

Pro Tip 2:

From the MechLab:
1) Select a 'mech
2) Mech Details
3) Equipment

For bonus points, the next 'mech you go to Mech Details on, it will take you straight to the Equipment screen, saving you ONE ENTIRE CLICK PER 'MECH!

In other news, UI1.0/1.5. Really? Do you actually remember how terrible that was? I'll remind you. It was very very terrible. UI2.0 is merely bad. If we expect this kind of progression, UI2.5 (or 3.0 or whatever they call it) should be actually quite reasonable.

Those were the days. when you could see all your slots at once.

Well you couldn't, but you could very easily and very quickly see what was installed where and then move to that.

Really there's no excuse as to why modules can't be shared between mechs once you purchase them in the same way many games do these days. Especially now that it costs ~20 million cbills to apply modules to a SINGLE mech, the implication that I should have to shell that out for every single mech I have AFTER buying it and building it just so I don't have to hunt them down and switch them around every time I change mechs is absurd and insulting, and simply reeks of being a dirty way to try and nudge players into spending more on MC. The truth is I would be inclined to spend more on this game if this frustrating issue was addressed, and I don't even care about being refunded for duplicate modules. As it stands it just looks like pure laziness at best and devious coercion at worst, and I feel obligated to refuse to dump money or cbills into avoiding this nuisance.

I feel okay with pretty much every other pricing setup applied to this game through various packages and store prices, but this one particular "feature" which has stood for far too long and only gotten worse with the addition of new modules is a huge, glaring black mark in my eyes. The longer it has stood, the more disgusting and suspicious it looks.

You do realized that there is a known bug that makes this unreliable? UI 1.0 way way better than the current system we have for finding inventory and quickly building mechs. Also if you click strip Mech(modules for example) with this Error.. you have a CHANCE to permanently DELETE your Module.... This has happened to me (Support gave me money back)... Not only does PGI know about this error and the STRIP Error bug they mentioned it in the Email SUPPORt gave me...

Let me educate you..

Hmmm did not know about this bug. I wonder if this is why i am missing a few of my modules. I currently own over 100 chassis and I have been over all of them to find a few modules. I use the strip function regularly. Hmmmmm

You think PGI will put their items in alphabetically this time? I'd like not to spend so much time finding ammo and whatnot.

I thought it was designed so that modules are hard to find in order to have players buy extra modules out of convenience/frustration.

This thread is idiotic, could you explain it even clearer?

Let that sink in for a moment.

Does that motivate you to elaborate so I can understand better? Why come off like a douchebag then? Actually this thread is a legitimate suggestion, but you've colored it right in the title.

This UI is horrible. PGI is spitting in our face by forcing us to work this ridiculous annoyingly hard UI. I can't see my mechs perks anymore. Not the ones in the store but MINE the ones I own. This is like PGI flipping us the middle finger and saying "you are playing our game and now we are gonna make you suffer cause we know you will keep playing."

No. I am going to quit this game if this keeps up. I want to have an EASE of access to my mechs. I don't want to **** around for an hour trying to do ONE thing and end up flipping to different layouts for no reason.

PGI give us the old UI back and stuff this **** somewhere else.

So aside from the thread necro, were complaining about a feature that exists in the UI?

Learn to use it before you slam it. You can easily see your mech quirks by clicking one little pullout.

I wont tell you where. You just need to go find it, then slap your forehead with your palm for your insolence.

With that attitude, you should work for PGI.

I can only imagine a player with 100 mechs trying to find a mod......

Home, mechbay, CN9A, configure, modules, nope, home, mechbay, scroll.....umm......WVR7, configure, modules, look, nope, home, mechbay, MDD-P, configure, modules, nope, home.......and this for now 97 more mechs until you happen to stumble across your module....your mouse would be dead by the time you got done clicking. This is 2015, I thought only Diablo should have had the nickname of "Click-ablo".....one would have thought by 2015 we could have convenient UIs and stuff...ones that cut the clicks by about 80%...

Inventory>click through mechs, and see the module slots on each mech to click on.
