TDRs got all the good quirks, TBRs and HBRs are good mechs, MDDs are good mechs and as a whole, Heavies are able to pack in the the most laser vomit while still maintaining a good land speed and mobility.
Mediums/Lights dont pack enough guns to fit the PP Laser vomit meta and Assaults as a whole are just big, slow moving LRM bait targets who get circle jerked without effort.......

Aaaaaaaaa, the sense of freedom going commando..... or riding a locust.....
Anyway, I'm completely agree if someone wants to give lights more rewards... because I always want C-bills!
Lights are largely understimated, imo.
But I think that ppl prefer firepower over piloting, and even if PGi would ever give more rewards to lights, I think the que would not change that much.

I'm simply pointing out that posting screenshots of your awesome performance is akin to showing your genitals in public.
BTW, I guess FS9-A or Huggin.
If PGI scaled rewards on queue distribution, things would change, no doubt. Possibly wildly.

So, aside from the Captain Obvious thing, do you have anything else?

That, sir, is a fantastic idea.
PGI, heed this mans words!
Edit: Instead of flat 20%.. why not scale cbills based on queue proportions? I reckon that'd flatten the curve quick-like.

Ops!! nooooooooooo!!!!
I thought you was referring to the commando! Because it was the right answer!!!!!! COM-B1 (and locust too)
Pity.
BTW, no, I'm not showing ballz, I'm not that good, because I started to pilot lights quite recently. I understimated lights for a couple of years.... my bad...
I guess a lot of ppl understimate them too, and that's why the light que is to ....light.
I'm totally agree with anyone who wants to improve light que. Because piloting lights really worths.
I don't know how it would be possible to do...
Any idea is welcome!
C-bills are always good, but...... if ppl likes firepower.... I guess they would continue to dakka dakka or wub wub...

This isn't my parade.
This is a universal.
I just dont understand why it isn't being addressed.
Actually I do, but I dont like it, so I'm voicing my opinion, is that cool with you, bro?
Yeah, bro.
I just think it's important to differentiate between problems that PGI aren't aware of or don't understand, and problems that they understand perfectly well and don't consider problems at all due to business decisions or their "artistic vision" or whatever else. It's useful to have it in mind when discussing solutions to these problems.
I agree with this criticism as much as anyone. Go through my post history and you'll find I've spoken about the problem with the queue many a time. I'm just trying to nudge the conversation to move forward from what has already been discussed in the past.

Yeah I got that.
The big issue here is that it IS a problem, from a business perspective. This isn't tabletop; either mechs are properly balanced, or we accept the imbalance, and PGI relax the class restrictions.. meaning ultimately that we all play TBR/TDR wars.
It's really that simple. Anything other is just inflating the iteration time for everyone.
Right?
Edit: Just realised I merged the responses to two posts improperly.
Apologies for that.

I dropped in a Summoner I bought the other day with heavies at 46% and had a game in 20 sec. I was shocked that it happens since I was dropping in my mediums at 22% and waiting about a minute.
I think waiting is mostly about the elusive ELO. Just my thoughts

Fine, so T?R wars it is. well played to you sir, you really helped evolve the game.
Oh.. by the way, I dont wish to ruin your delusion.. but there are _many_ folk here playing thee game without spending any real money at all..
If those guys are incentivised, the queue distribution WILL move.

Percentages changes every time you hover over play now button. Once you click play now, the percentages would probably change again. So you will never know what the actual percentage is when you click.

That's true. For example.. I saw 6% lights at one point this evening.
Assuming that you have a point, would you mind stating it?
