They have been moved to another folder and any new screenshots will be saved there.

Just going to point out the easy way to get to that folder, which is reliable even if you choose to move it - open the Start Menu (assuming you have one), click on your username, and the Saved Games directory should be there in the window that just popped open. As I mentioned in another thread, you can change the location of the Saved Games dir (right-click the shortcut, open location tab, and move it to your preferred location), but this shourtcut will always be here and lead to the right location.

Any chance you guys can make the folder location something you can change for the screenshot? maybe using the user.cfg?

It should have the old ones in there also. My old ones are in there along with the new ones I've taken since the patch. Are you sure you are looking in the correct folder?

There was a bug in the patcher that screwed up the relocation of those files if the folders had non-english characters in them.

If they are not in the old folder and didn't make it into the new folder they might be gone.
Have you tried searching through your drives for the word "ScreenShot" ? MWO names them all ScreenShotxxxx.jpg with xxxx being the number of the file (ScreenShot0001 or ScreenShot0013 etc.).

I just looked for the screenshot folder the very first time and saw interesting things...

Being a left handed dude i use a little extra keyboard (Ideazon Fang) and reconfigured it so the print button is opening the map...but not only as i realize now.

Everytime i looked on the map i made a screenshot and i was always wondering where all the space on my ssd was gone.

I had more than 8000 pictures in the folder!! :D :D :D

That happened to me when they decided to make F12 a second screenshot button without telling, I had my missile doors bound to that one.

the old screenshot's were whatever the default naming for them. I had made a shortcut to the folder on my desktop so I could access it at anytime I wished. Could that have screwed something up with the patcher and those screenshots taken?

I don't know.

If you never deleted any screenshots you can just search your harddrive for a file called ScreenShot0001.jpg . If that comes up empty your screenshots are gone. I guess you could try recovering them with a data-recovery tool but you'd have to find out how to do that yourself. Probably too much of a hassle for some measly screenshots.
