I've noticed that sometimes, hits to the face registers on the rear and cores you instantly in MLX.

it could be because of the small hitboxes where the projectile passes the front box between the server 1/20sec ticks.

A vid i managed to capture showing this effect for lasers to the face.

check around 2:37 where some LPLs hits me in the face and registers on the back. Later on at 3:15 a raven hits with 2 ERLLs into my face and kills me (i have 24hp armor at the front CT which was mostly intact.)

You were down to internals in your CT when that raven shot you with the ERLL, so you took 22 damage and that would have killed you no questions. In regard to the hitbox issue i'm currently levelling my MLX's and the issue you mentioned affects me as well, it's frustrating at times.

Do you typically bring ECM? I leveled the MLX already but I used 4 cMed lasers most of the time.

2 ER LL 22 damage?

My front CT armor was intact mostly (i had 24 in there)... IS ERLLs do 9 each so thats 18 total.... but i see it now... there is an LRM15 salvo in the middle of the chaos that kills me.

But the point was the first hit by LPLs by the wolverine.

Apologies, i was looking at CERLL i thought IS did the same damage.
