It suddenly started to work perfectly. LPL start to cripple enemies easily, cut through mechs like butter.

I just had my best match ever, 7 kills, 11 components destroyed and 1520 damage in a 4x AC5, 2x AC2 King Crab. Ran out of ammo when 2 enemies were left and I was last man standing on our team. Still the 2 enemies keep running away and I chased them, clacking my claws all the way along and laughing like mad. Died in the end, but great fun!

What ever you did PGI, please leave the servers like this! Me likes! :)

I have nights like this too....i think its just their servers.

Some night i can take the 4x LPL WHK out and just mow mechs down like i am mulching leaves in the yard.

Other nights i put 3 rounds of chain firing into a Jenner and he giggles, drops arty and runs away.

Poor Shadow Magnet, all that and you managed to draw the short bus team...

But yeah, to win you gotta carry, and sadly, you were 5 mechs short of the required amount of carry in order to win. Atleast you had 2 others that helped shoulder some of that burden, they got 2....lol.

Well, I had great fun in that match, winning wasn't important. I didn't expect any good result and was just fooling around.
Funny enough, after I posted this I read in Announcements that a transatlantic cable got severed - seems the alternative routing was actually much better for me than the original one.

Today I will switch to a new ISP, hopefully the hit reg stays at this level :)

LOL, if severing cables made hit reg better...then give me a pair of pliers and let me get to work. In a game, I hate little, more then idiotic players and shoddy hit detect.....

The other day I had a 5 kill, 995 damage game where as the last member alive I killed a dire wolf, a crab, a nova and a hunchback. I was honestly appalled since for a similar performance I usually net around 400 damage and no kills.

HitReg is a fickle mistress, but when she fancies it her champions are imbued with the power of the gods themselves.

hitreg is stll weird.

It seems to differ from match to match. I made an awesome match yesterday as well, hitreg just worked in that one.
But I had two matches before with around only 200 dmg in my MLX, and given the fact that I have a CERLL and a CERML in it and shot at least more than 30 time within max dmg range of the CERLL at giant sized mechs made me realyl wonder where this damage went to. But yeah constantly having good hitreg would be an amazing dream.

Just put two alpha into a stationary Spider with 4 Large Lasers and barely scrapped its paint.

Seems to be random.

After 2 days of being good, hit reg is back to it's old horrible unplayable state for me. Oh well, time to play some other game until PGI gets its crap fixed.

You might want to damage that underwater cable again. Maybe train some sharks?

Seriously, I'm not sure how much PGI could do about inefficient routing, if that's really the problem here.

Yeah, that really sounds like a good option, getting sharks with lasers to attack the transatlantic cable again ;)

Ping is the same as before, so what does the routing change? How could it f*** up the hit reg algorithm so badly?

BTW, looking closely it seems that the damage went down but more important, critical hits and component destruction went down even more. You take a Wubbringer or Thunderwub, alpha someone several times - and no arms/torsos blow up like you would expect.
