sounds like fun, cause there's a Verse out there for the takin.

only caught a few episodes when it first came out on TV because 1) they kept getting played at different times or interrupted for weeks before the next episdoe was shown and 2) didn;t seem to be shown in any sort of order that made sense (i think i saw Saffron's RETURN episode before i saw her first appearance). then bought Serenity when it came out, friend let me borrow the oginal series to watch in order then went out to buy it myself.

I do love Clan Wolf, even the ones who have been a might off since they were dropped on their heads as young-ins.

I'm not yet sure how the Clan/House/Mercenary Organization/Guild/Friends List/Etc structure will pan out in MWO, but I would love to be a part of the Firefly tradition. "We do a job. We get paid."

Still can't believe that no other network picked it up.

I think Joss Whedon has the rights to Firefly if they could ever get it picked up again. Nathan already said he would be Malcom Reynolds again.

Firefly was a great show. To bad Fox was stupid enough to put it up against Stargate SG-1 and the final season of Farscape. Might have lasted longer otherwise...

Actually, 20th Century Fox owns the rights to Firefly.

I think the best bet would be to release Firefly novels and have original actors read their parts for the audio books. Nathan would play Cap'n Mal again, but he couldn't vouch for the other actors and actresses. Also, Joss Whedon has announced that he has, regrettably, moved on. He may be convinced to write novels, and he has already given his blessing to other authors. However, A couple other movies and an MMO, like "Privateer" or whatnot, would be EPIC!!!

well i do recall they made Joss redo the series openner because the Fox folk didn;t think the crew (or maybe just Mal) looked "heroic" enough when dealing with the bad guys or something in his initial premier episode. and things went downhill from there.

Personally I think the black on gray looks pretty good, though I suppose you could always go with a black backing and a goldish font if you wanted it to show up in the forums better. Also a dark blue or black star probably would look better and be closer to the actual prop insignia, or at least a darker shade of brown.
