Hi!

I have a maybe stupid question that has two parts:

1.)
I have bought clan mechs like KFX, SCR, TBR ("Wave 1").
I can buy multiple camos for them, but no clan camos.
How can I for example give my TBR the Clan Wolf pattern?

2.)
Exactely the opposite with wave 2 mechs like Mist Lynx and Hellbringer:
I can only choose clan patterns for them but none of the "normal" patterns.
How can I assign a normal pattern to my Hellbringers?

I would understand if the wave 2 mechs don't have all options available, yet (if so, any information on how that will be?).
But why are the wave 1 mechs missing their original patterns?
Are the textures/skins not yet created or what is the reason?

Thanks for any help that clears my confusion :)

You can't do either of those things...yet.

Wave I clan camos are apparently coming in a couple months. I haven't heard about standard camos for Wave II mechs, but I'm sure they'll come.

I didn't even know they were going to do clan skins for wave 1 at all so that's good to know.

I have not seen a date for the standard camos either but they have at least a dozen skins and half a dozen mechs to place them on. It does take some time to do. Not to mention the upcoming Resistance mechs.

Yeah, I'm kindof looking forward to GB SCR. Probably the A when it's out for CB. :)

I think they were hoping to have the clan skins out pre-Resistance, but the work got pushed so they can get Resistance out the door on time. But that's just memory and I could be wrong.

I think they're leaving money on the table not having skins out for the Wave II mechs. The "base camo" is so, so bad that it seems like they're more likely to sell skins (insert conspiracy theory here) but once those are leveled and people have focused down to one or two, they may sell less. <shrug>

The Resistance mech's skins will probably come out a little late, maybe when the cbill version are out. That seems to be when they got skins out before when they were behind (Phoenix)

Yep. That seemed a reasonable trend, but who knows now?

Thank you for your answers. That clarified things indeed.
However:
I noticed already twice now a hellbringer in my team having a camo that I could not reproduce.
E.g. the upper torso half was black.
None of the clan camos look that way and the default camo is light gray with the three colors only influencing small color bands, not large areas of the torso.

So I'm once again back to the question: Where can I change my Hellbringer's (and other Wave 2 mechs) camo? It is possible already, I have seen it first hand ingame.

That would be the Invasion camo, only available on (and locked onto) the Prime variants of mechs that were preordered. It has a paintable top half, a paintable stripe and a locked Invasion Grey bottom half.

You cannot change camo pattern for clan pack Wave2 mechs. But you can buy mech for c-billis and apply any pattern.
Any skills you have already opens will works at new same chasis variant.

This isn't accurate. None of the Wave II mechs have any camos yet available besides the faction ones, CB or PO purchase is irrelevant. The Invasion variants have unique locked camo.
