Played a few rounds yesterday.

New map, pretty much the same theme as before. Nice, but largely the same game.

Counterattack - works much better when pugs vrs pugs, or premades vra premades... actually, it could probably use a little more match time.

Premades still crush pugs in Counterattack, as they did before.

Loyalty rewards have improved the situation somewhat as to getting new mechs, and some modules for them.

Waiting queues do work slightly better. However, waiting twenty five minutes for a match to start is still, and will remain a totally unworkable concept. Frankly, they need to scrap this and come up with something else.

What sometimes looks good on paper proves to work poorly in the field, and this lobby system approach is part of that.

Better, perhaps, a private Champion tier for launching private matches between premades, based on an agreed upon battle. One unit can challenge another unit for the planet, and the battles can be scheduled for a private session at a agreed upon time. Should a unit refuse to coordinate a defense in a reasonable time, the planet is forfeit

Champion Games with Champion Rewards..

You could have a second tier, called the public group tier, for premades groups of 2 to 10.

And a primary public tire for pugs.

Three different tier versions of the inner sphere faction maps,

None affiliated mercs can fight for any faction, forgoing some of the faction specific rewards, but enjoying an extra cash payout.

These are just ideas - CW is not yet ready for market - but a rocky start is slowly improving.
