Mad at what? Interestingly it's generally the people shopping for some sort of affirmation or validation who try and project an emotional response from others.

There's a lot of misinformation going on. This thread makes that really clear; you get posts from one person saying 'no no, it's not about tags, we're just good friendly guys playing for fun with friends, cuz we're fun' and two posts later it comes out that no, actually, screw everyone else, turret stomps or dropping on allies it's about the TAGZ.

I have several friends who are in -MS-. Good peeps. I've got no fundamental issue with -MS- playing CW like it's group queue with respawns. Whatever floats your boat.

Just be honest about it, that's all. Otherwise people are going to expect more than you're going to give and get frustrated.

Don't really care. If text on a forum in the corner of the internet someplace with no real consequences truly offends people, then they have bigger issues than the notorious unit MS allegedly not meeting their high standard for immersive and cooperative gaming.

Edit: Just wanted to comment on Ax2's observations. My posts aren't necessarily troll posts, simply effectively worded to achieve maximum impact. Limits on PvP kill PvP games, period. i cam here to this topic to get info on the SL what i find is .... well lets put it this way some guys of MS should not be hired as PR manager.

yes it was not smart, not to let MS talk at the meeting.
but if it is true that MS would not have adhered to the agreements from the start why should they speak ?!?
so now a lot of ego's took dmg
i understand the point of MS that they wona fight without regulations on it
but most of the post sound like "mimimi we are MS biges best unit on the plaaaaaaaanet do like we bid!!!!!!!!","how dare you exclude us from the meeting" wow MS is not the center of the universe

of course there a some guys from MS trying to speak in a more sanity voice here.

Most of this post is being used atm for pointing fingers and lashing out on people. The Star league is suppose to be a way to symbolize unity for a common goal, i just see a typical scenario of forum wars i am in a big unit vs small unit or self esteem showing or hammering down comments of someone else.
That wont cut it. if we are already having problems with each other. might as well restart small border wars. instead shake hands. shoulder to shoulder bro fist and keep those comments to oneself and stop thinking or saying best vs nobody and WORK TOGETHER. or Fight your own wars.

If a unit that fights for a world claims it, a natural response is to thank all the smaller support units or pugs they had to achieve that goal. not to take self pride just because without em it might have take em longer or lack of people to do the job.
However do be supportive with the main goal. side tracking is ok for a very short time. but stick to the plans layed out under the Star League.
Everyone's actions will effect the outcome overtime if someone makes a bad move a few times we will all see it and ofc will be addressed under meetings.

So are we done with forum wars and can we come together and actually do something together, or rather sit here and continue this personal vendetta. if so do it somewhere else please.

Here's your info on the star league: it's a roleplay thing that means nothing and the people who hope it means something are the ones who were stomping all over the place two months ago, lost all their mercs, and in the last month have started getting brutally owned to the point where they cling to some fantasy ceasefire where we all fight the clans instead of them (they have no borders with the clans). Sorry fedcom dogs, the only path to a star league will come when the Coordinator seizes all planets and unites all humanity under the aegis of his enlightened combine.
