New Player And Team Training Camp.

I live in the USA and am in the Mountain standard time zone. Probably the best time for me would be on Sunday Evenings. I also have a private TS server that you can join me on by yourself or with your team. My Team would also be willing to help with the training once your ready to take on organized groups. Probably start off light playing against you with joke builds until you get used to playing together using tactics and then hit you with the meta.
Anyway, I encourage anyone else with some spare time to offer the same services to those who might want it. PM me if interested and good luck to you all!

It worked rather well, because new players could very easily find one of these trainers (as they had specific hours posted) and it was really quite useful.

Kudos to you!
Today I met the umpteenth pilot trying to hit me with srm.... at +300 m range.
A rookie boot camp is very necessary.

I am not even remotely a good player, but I think I'm finally better than bad, and would love to help out with something like this. My playing time is enormously erratic though, as I work 60-70 hours a week and have an amazing wife and 4 kids. If you ever get this off the ground and need a hand, PM me a few days in advance, if you can, and I'll do what I can to be there to help.
Biggest problem is, the people that need this the most probably don't ever see the forums. Some way to advertise in-game is what you need.

But huh...
Shouldn't this thread be also/better in the New Player's Section?

2- 4 man only, larger groups need to pay with premie time.
Didn't get much traction.

Just try to cover some basic stuff "R is not just for missiles, getting isolated is generally bad, lights aren't meant to assault head on" but also be flexible that some people need the very basics while others simply need a helping hand with certain aspects and tactics. I know, it's quite vague but I'm sure a difference can be made

Lesson 1: The basics of HUD RO's and targeting.
Lesson 2: Firing range
A.) Weapons ranges and effective damage.
B.) Leading a target while stationary.
C.) Leading a target while moving.
Advanced students.
A.) Shooting multiple targets while stationary
B.) Shooting multiple targets while moving
C.) Arial combat training
Lesson 3: Formation Training.
A.) Minimap Navigation
B.) Mech positioning and role warfare
C.) Introductory offensive/defensive posturing (intermediate tactics)
Lesson 4: Advanced Mech movements (tanking/dealing damage)
A.) Torso Twisting
B.) Terrain/Module/equipment percs
C.) Componant Destruction vs. Kill
Lesson 5: Advanced role warfare
This lesson is basically for students to take everything I have tried to teach and put it to use in an actual match. By this point you should know what the job of the mech you are piloting really is. It will be a test to see if you actually learned anything and if I was successful in teaching you.
If the community has anything they think I should add please feel free to chime in. I have 12 man lesson on Friday. I could use some pointers.
