Do I have this correct?

If I buy one of the permanent pattern unlocks I can only use it on one chassis?
So if buy a pattern it for my Shadowhawk 2H I can only use it on my other Shadowhawk varients and not on the Orion I will eventually buy?

If I buy a color I can use it on any mech and chassis that I own or will own in the future?

What about cockpit items? Does it give me one for every mech, one that I can move from mech to mech, or one for the mech I buy it for?

Patterns:

• Perm unlock: Unlocks that pattern for all mechs of that chassis type (i.e all Shadowhawks or all Mad Dogs)
  
• One Shot: Significantly cheaper and unlocks that pattern for the mech you bought it for. You may change the colors on it but if you change the pattern and later try and change back to it you will have to pay for it again.

Colors:

• Buying a color permanently unlocks it for use with all mechs and patterns

Cockpit Items:

• Buys a single unit of a specific cockpit item (example: 1 Jade Falcon Warhorn) which can be placed on any mech but only 1 at a time. Meaning you can put it in your Timber Wolf one day and then later unequip it and move it to an Orion.
