<unit>
<chassis>UrbanMech</chassis>
<model>all</model>
<quirk>low_profile</quirk>
</unit>
(Simply means it's short.)
<unit>
<chassis>Highlander</chassis>
<model>all</model>
<quirk>reinforced_legs</quirk>
</unit>
(Means that all Highlanders have reinforced legs to allow them to take less damage [when performing Death From Above attacks].)
<unit>
<chassis>Awesome</chassis>
<model>all</model>
<quirk>battle_fists</quirk>
</unit>
Quirk has no use here, but means it deals extra melee damage (so perhaps extra collision damage when ramming?)
The Commandos have a negative quirk; exposed actuators.
<unit>
<chassis>Dragon</chassis>
<model>all</model>
<quirk>stable</quirk>
</unit>
Simply means that Dragons are harder to knock down in melee combat.
Interesting quirks that won't have bearing on gameplay here.
Shadowhawks have improved life support.
Spiders can't eject, period.
Blackjacks get half resale value compared to well, anything, because of a bad reputation involving their feet and fears that they would topple over under fire more than most mechs -- something completely untrue but aside from the Davions no one would take that bet.
Adder gets a cowl, raising its head armor a bit.
The Hellsinger Battlemaster hero mech carries a 'droppable' (jettison capable) PPC in each hand, which the pilot can drop and pick back up later so that it can engage in a fist-throwing brawl and then return to sharp shooting.
The Jackalope is considered to be a compact mech.

Of interesting note:
The Thunderbolt has Multi-Trac, allowing it to target up to two enemies without penalty to accuracy (doable with MWO already, so the only feasible addition here would be to allow twin missile locks? But even that's kinda bleh).
The Stalker has a combat computer. Units equipped with advanced computers that can effectively manage heat levels more efficiently than standard computers can be given the Combat Computer Quirk; the presence of the Quirk indicates in game terms that the heat generated by the unit each turn is reduced. Applicable to: AeroSpace Fighters, BattleMechs and Small Craft.
