So PGI, you going to readjust some contracts to counter the mass exodus you created from FedSuns? Or you just going to let them continue hemorrhaging planets?

I just played two large Davion groups, in the pub queue, who aren't playing CW. I think it might be problem when units are still listed as being part of a faction even though they aren't dropping. Wolf had this going on a month ago. It probably doesn't help.

I suspect you won't have a fresh influx of CW players until the next major revision patch. It's not very much fun right now.

I really hope that PGI doesn't just count overall faction tags instead of looking directly at CW stats. I too noticed a number of large units in the Pub queue. I had really hoped that Counterattack would have brought more units back to CW.

I'm not saying CW is fundamentally broken and unfun, but yes, it's fundamentally broken and unfun.

I mean, I'm not a game designer or anything, so I'm probably wrong about that. It's probably super fun and not broken at all.

One would hope, but something tells me from the actual activity level witnessed vs the rewards given that PGI is using the total number of contracts taken to determine what areas need help. Wolf is a great example that I had personal experience and time with...clearly witnessing few 12's dropping on their side for awhile...yet no rewards from PGI. During that time many units were still signed up for Wolf...just not dropping. Kurita also had a time period of no rewards but fairly low overall activity especially during NA prime time. It took some serious time before PGI finally boosted those rewards. Davion has also shown much lower activity of late but no rewards. Ghostbear was almost a ghost town recently...no rewards.

My guess is that it actually takes contracts running out before PGI responds with contract changes. But its just a guess. It probably doesn't help folks like Ghost Bear when a largish unit like MS jumps to them every other week.

And not like the rewards are that meaningful...just that we tend to use them as an indication of population in each faction and I think it may be a bit misleading.
