Is anyone remembering this? I can't find it on the website anymore.
It's not that much of an help but still...

Also, hazard 4/ indigo threat Space Ostrich! (Damit, i should have used that as my name)

EDIT: There's also a Flea in that guide. You know the mech that never make it into the game...
EDIT2: Now with a better quality (last thing was barely readable, sorry).
EDIT3: Just in case, this awesome stuff was made py PGI (i think?). I'm not taking credits for it, it's just a great guide and it was a shame that it coudn't be seen anymore.

I shouldn't be the one saying this, but this Guide has to get pinned! ;)

This is awesome. Agree as well that this needs to be pinned and made required reading for new players.

Shooting a single Space Ostrich is dangerous, even for an Atlas... Now imagine a whole compagny of Ostriches...

By the way, Overlord dropships are made out of Space Ostrich's eggs. You can tell by their shape!

Would be funnier if the last diagram showed a single blue surrounded by reds with the rest of your team running in the opposite direction (blue arrows faced away from single blue) :). Loved the part saying how much recruits loved how Battlemechs could move forward! If only these posters could be made into a short video with Betty voicing them, ala tutorials.

That's a very great idea! Tutorials have to be fun.
I don't know jack about video editing but if someone has the skill, i'm begging you: "Please make the MW:O Safety Guide Video"!
Pretty please?

I'll shamelessly admit that more than a few times, I tried jumping into the lake diving board style.

I'll also admit to alpha striking to impress members of the opposite sex

And at the beginning of many games, you can see people alpha firing to "get the party started". Sometimes on their teammates...
That's precisely why the reading of this guide should be mandatory!

Another known misuse of an alpha strike is to create some light in the night when looking for your frontdoor's keyhole.

This part is a bit strange, you have to read it as a simple reminder that your legs and torso can face differents directions.
You can consider Torso-Twisting as an advanced mechwarrior skill!
