In PUG I don't see them that often but in CW they broke the game for me. We faced waves of 5-6 TDR-9S ER-PPCs (whores - for maximum saltiness) and it was painful to watch.
Is it that broken in CW or should I L2P?
A summary of the best answers:
Major Tryhard:
I will save you some time by condensing all the replies you are going to get in this one post.
- lolwut, l2p
- zerg rush them with brawlers and hope they run out of coolshots before your team runs out of mechs.
- me and my leet unit roll lightningbolts all the time, I have no idea what you are talking about, probably bad player.
- yeah, but what about clans, they also have OP mechs, so there.
- some more l2p
Wildstreak:
You forgot the following 'traditional' replies.
- (insert meme meant to degrade and shame you here.)
- (insert someone claiming to know real combat when they don't.)
- This is a TEAM game. Teamwork OP! (said by people failing to demonstrate team behavior.)
- TDR-9S is fine because in non-CW it does not do that well. (Complete lie, I am collecting after-match shots involving TDR-9S Mechs, so far only 1 seen and that one did obnoxiously well.)
- (deafening silence as the TDR-9S & No Nerf defenders hope that ignoring someone will 'make the complaint go away.')
- Then there is the ever popular, "Clanner *****! You are a Clanner!" It comes in several variations and is currently used to show bad reading comprehension and/or ignoring the details of the person they are screaming at.
