Possible add 1 to 3 quirks that will represent the lore strengths of each faction. Maybe Kurita gets energy cool down +5%, and Clan Wolf gets +5 to erppc range. Whatever makes sense for each faction, not so much that everyone rushes to the best quirk faction, but enough to influence the style of play of various players.

Something to give more flavor to specific factions is good.
I could see after rumored comeback of R&R cheaper repairs for faction mechs.
