Can anyone make some suggestions for a relatively new player to buy, currently I got about 17m? I bought the LPL range and I have ac5 cooldown from before. I really only use my dragon 1n. I do have banshee 3m and three mechs from the 15 year gift. I love ballistics and PPCs.

You have to unlock the item under pilot tree before you can buy it.

!*&$#. I'm an idiot. Double idiot actually. I spent my GXP on PPC range, AMS Overdrive, and purchased an Overdrive module only to find out that none of this will work with my Clan mechs. Sigh....

I see now that I needed to spend GXP on Cl ER PPC Range, and there is no CL AMS Overdrive. :*(

Clan Modules List (same as above)

I didn't make mistake... But initial flipping around didn't see any other option. The other option was in mechlab ? But that make it restricted to mechs...

AMS Overload (and Enhanced NARC) works for both clans and spheroids.


Anyway, this finally got me to pokemonz all the weapon mods. I guess I'll have to give those flamers another try..

Go for laser range modules, medium and large, and ballistic cooldown modules.

That said, i would have bought more mechs instead.

You have a budget.
Ultimately you want to buy what you really use and need.
If you are playing CW you might need duplicates of certain weapon module to optimise your drop deck.

Like what other have suggest.
1. Get the modules you need and WILL use first.
2. For modules you might use but have limited GXP. Drop 500GXP into the skill and you can buy the module for future use.

Excellent idea. I have plenty of built up GXP myself, but I've seen many players lamenting over not having enough. I'm not sure why the thought never occurred to me that you could get by with just lvl 1.

Ive bought wrong modules several times (was disturbed from my ..................................................... darling.
But, just for now during the sale, we can sell them back with only 150.000 Cbills loss (1 game),
and buy modules we really need/want.

Thanks to PGI and all the players playing to get it up to 45%.

Had to sell some engines to get around 15mio, but now I got 9 more modules.
The collection is increasing...


both ML mods for my Jenner,
both SRM6 mods for my Kintaro
both ERPPC mods for the Thud
and both PPC mods for the Awesome
No duplicates yet (tho some more MLaser modules would help)
