MK I at 1 ton adds a lot of things that makes it almost always feel worthwhile if you have a spare ton.....how many people are out there running MK IV-VII though? Not many I would think especially since modules give you a better range boost and take up zero weight.

A while back I made a spreadsheet when I was thinking about what *I* would do if I was in charge. I saw the spreadsheet that was released with the pulse laser changes in November with the flaws in it (did not even take laser duration into account for the DPS, what the ****?) and started day dreaming about private servers and how I would do things. If you scroll to the bottom of this document you will see what I was thinking about scaling and TCs:

I would primarily scale back the projectile speed increases in your suggestion... right now the current scaling is stupidly bad (like a PPC quirk of at least 15% is more than what the TCs are giving). It could be better, but not that much better.

Also, increasing the crit changes by that much is a bit much and lowers TTK far more significantly. Adding an almost guaranteed 1.5 damage to the CERPPC at any range does not improve TTK (range does not actually affect crit damage calculations).

So TC adds jack squat


What was the phrase people repeated over and over "Clans have range advantage, use it" TC buff is a must time for 2500M warfare.

Or they could make it so that the command console enables the B map, and those who don't have it, can't use it.

No idea what to do for the clans, though.

For 3 tons the command console needs some serious buffs.

Hell let us get rid of indirect fire LRMs unless they targeted by someone carrying C3, tagged, or Narc'd.

I would like to see it be a true "command module" for the command 'mech on a team. It should defeat ECM within a certain range like BAP and give the 'mechs in a certain range around it very fast targeting info as well.

I would be more inclined towards the CC being more in its own field as well. I would not want it to be an IS TC; we have that when timeline advances.

For example, the ability to target a 2nd enemy in addition to a primary target ® to simulate an additional passenger handling command related tasks.

I would love to see TC2-7 more often and want to use them!,
but i cant justify 100% increase in Crits and Tonnage, for only 45% increase in use,
