Dear Coordinator,

While counterattacking on Toffen at about 3 am I was TK'd on purpose, as it caused an entire defensive lance to not redrop on that planet and you lost it by 3% I will explain the why and the how.

I was in a Grid Iron and we were attacking the Gamma gate.

While in route the Clan force attempted to flank us, me and a light took the 3 flankers out and continued on to Gamma.

Whilst at Gamma [REDACTED] piloting a King Crab repeatedly called for a push.

NOTE: I am at in a Grid Iron with Gauss and an XL engine and at 60% armor after the incident with the 3 clan mechs also we are getting crushed badly. like 30 to 15 at that time.

Anyways, no one moves and he starts going ballistic about it in chat.
Well while he is doing this a DW ambles through the gate and due to the King Crabs high position he cannot shoot it, but it is lighting him up, so I kill the DW with more Gauss.

About a min later my lance mate says over coms "Did that Crab just shoot you?"

I turn to my left and notice that I may have foolishly stepped in front of a Cataphract which was behind me and thought nothing of it until BOOM you have been killed by [REDACTED] who was to my left and front still standing on the hill before the gate.

He then proceeds to explain in chat that I was shot for failing to obey an officer.

WAIT WHAT?

Failing to LEAD an ill conceived push called for by an Assault who ISN'T pushing nor are his friends also in assaults in a (Glass Cannon) Gauss packed XL Medium is cause for TKing now?

Anyways I apologize for not going back to that planet with a lance and eventually the planet was lost by 1 match, but there was no way I was dropping with that guy again or his buddies, and now you know why.

Would we have made a difference in the final outcome? IDK it was by 1 match so who knows.

I guess we will try again later in the day when we are only facing 48 enemy mechs not 52+ with attitude issues.

Yes I screen shotted the chat and yes PGI has it, that's not the point.

The point is I am here to help you guys and its hard to go from the coolest match ever to one of the worst, but as I said we shall try again later and win back Kurita's planet.

None of my lance mates dishonored either The Seraphim or Kurita by returning fire.

Sounds like you were in the wrong and the code of bushido demanded no less.

There really isn't any accounting for pug behavior. Stick with your unit or with organized drop ships on HK teamspeak - you'll be much better off and do more to help us at the same time.

Assaults assault, mediums support them.
Glass cannons do not push in front of the assault force.

OP, you are not the only one who has faced this kind of incident. I played multiple matches in which my own team attacked me multiple times for no particular reason. Sometimes they also yelled at me for "not going with a winning strategy" when nobody does their job. This is utter bull and I will not take any more. If it happens again I will leave Clan vs IS permanently and head down south in Marik or Liao.

Kinda sad but it happens at times. As others have suggested stick with your unit or organized drops in HK TS. If they are a DCMS unit or part of my unit please let us know.
