Hmmm....at almost 100kph when you spawned you couldn't find even the least bit of cover?

In my several thousand matches even in assaults this has never happened...nor have I seen it happen unless it was to an afk pilot.

If you were in a DWF on a crappy spawn I might have some sympathy. But not in a SCR.

Looks like some of those missles are not even aimed at him. Only those at the center have a vector angled at him, the others have different targets.

And really... three LRM mechs? Of those only one seems to have a considerable salvo. The others are easily fetched out of the air by AMS. That's nothing to be afraid of or to complain about.

I'll not again mention the point made by the users above. They are correct!

Since people will never ever ever ever ever EVER stop complaining about LRM usage in the game (Like WoT's SPG's never stop being complained about) PGI might as well just make the cover move to you since you and every other player that complains about lurms can't seem to be bothered to make it to cover.

It does seem obvious the OP was AFK for some time before getting targeted. That much damage and a Leg lost takes a considerable amount of missiles, even on a stationary target. Do not be AFK and then gripe about damage received. That is beyond silliness.

Thus the sympathy meter has reached 0% for this poor whine attempt.

Please, don't blame LRM spammers. They either spam them or most of their build is worthless. If anything, blame PGI for not making any meaningful middle ground.

You see those gigantic rock formations behind you? Use them. You move over 100 Kph, there's no excuse to be decimated with both your speed and abundant cover on this map.

Good catch. Given that new information. If we take into account that Map (Tourm-D), the time it would take an enemy Light to B-line itself into range (min 30s-45s) such that the deployed UAV could pick up the OP @ max range 240m, and the UAV last a mere 45s (60s if enhanced) then Launch and arrival times of LRM's from +700m (a higher arc indicates a longer range) the OP was likely standing around, doing nothing, for at least 2 minutes (give or take).

Can't put that on the LRM'rs.

Normally I would say be careful not to name and shame in screenshots, but if its shaming yourself with your own screenshot, I think that's OK with the TOS.
