hi, i am new to this whole clan warfare thing and im basically only used to the 1st-3rd MechWarrior games. so some feedback on what these allegiances are, what all that training sessions for them are, and just all the basic info about this online dealio. thanks

this is prolly the easiest place to get your information. the different "houses" of the inner sphere is where you want to start reading to learn who is who, and who hates who and why.

so do you know if there will be a wolf clan? i loved to play on that clan on MW2 and would love to join them.

Since the Clans start their invasion of the Inner Sphere in 3050, that gives us all (hopefully) a full year to train and arm ourselves, and as a Crusader Clan, Clan Wolf will most definitely be one we will all encounter, so you can look forward to at least fighting against the stravag Wolves (I am a staunch supporter of Clan Snow Raven )even if we cannot join any of the Clans until much later in the game.

Clan Wolf was THE Warden Clan prior to 3058, Snow Raven education has been slipping up as of late, eh?

A recent podcast indicated that it will be possible to play as a Clan warrior since they mentioned the rewards for honorable combat.
Clan Wolf will feature in the game, they will arrive in the periphery (just beyond the Inner Sphere borders) in August 3049.

Stormwolf is right my friend... I am a staunch Warden Wolf and I can tell you that it was not until Khan Vlad Ward of the Crusader Wolves after the end of the refusal war that Wolf was known as Crusader. Please keep in mind however, that Vlad's Wolves are not the true Wolves. The Wolves in Exile are the true Clan Wolf and are still, very much, Warden. The reason the Wolves were a big attacking clan is because as the main opponent to an invasion the other clans decided to make them fight as punishment. They also got the corridor that was supposed to give them the least Honor and the like. As it turned out, the Wolves were far more adaptable than the other clan invaders were and as such were the clan to take the most territory and at a much faster rate than the other clans. For those that claim the Wolves only did so well because they got to fight the FRR rather than a "stronger" Inner Sphere nationality, I say, look at Tukayyid...

Like others have said in this forum, take the time to go over the wiki at sarna.net, and read the FAQs. There's tons of good information, and it's organized quite nicely.

While you won't be able to fight as a clan member right out of the gate, they will come. Oh they will come. If you're desperate to get in on some clan-style action early, may I suggest researching Wolf's Dragoons...

Yes, if they do allow people to fight for the clans in the coming invasion you can all count on the definite fact that I will be a Staunch Wolf Warrior. Heh...
