should have had a small increase in MC as well

they should have did it as the "be my valentine" and if you gifted MC to someone, then you got the same amount BUT you could not gift to yourself.

maybe a mech of choice like a clan reinforcement variant or a hero mech or others would've been a sweet deal. but buying more duplicates of the same thing especially on mechs that are way too known to see in game just doesn't help.

Of course I don't need any since I bought $200 of Karma Koin which I then converted into MC at a discount plus the two Hunchback mastery packs from doing that, and something else I think but don't recall.

More seriously I will pass this time and in the future because the list of bugs is getting longer and while patience is a virtue, it has it's limit... over 6 months I'm waiting in some cases... guess it's about time I realize that maybe they will never get fixed.

Well, if you were already planning on buying MC, the freebies are not too bad. You could sell the mechs you did not want for Cbills.

some one math this out for me, well and anyone else that wants to know-

C-bill worth of the Shawk pack, if yuo bought the 100 dollar MC and sold all the mechs.

More importantly, the Shawk pack c-bill worth, if I keep the hero I don't own.

Related question: I have a phoenix variant, but heck if I recall which one it is. Is the (C) variant the same as the phoenix one? (2H I think) if not, i would keep the (C) one and sell the regular 2H. if it is the same, I would probably sell the (C) also.

I just am wondering the c-bill worth because I do not own the hero(or the champion but meh) and was wondering how the c-bill value compared to MC cost to aquire same c-bills as a rough estimate on a backdoor "bonus MC" conversion of sorts.

Shawks sell for 933,452, not include the gear they're carrying.

The Phoenix variant is the same as the (C), the SHD-2H.

TBH, the entire MWO buying system has made me want to make me be very choosy in what I buy... from XL engines to just preplanning ALL aspects of a mech build.

This even includes the use of Ferro on certain builds.

So, my time is worth those C-bills - I can't waste them frivolously. This ALSO translates to buying with MC because I'm not getting reimbursed for bad purchases. I don't even bother with cockpit items on principle alone.

Let's see: PGI seems to be more interested in grabdeals than fixing issues in the game itself, and on that note, forget using debit/credit card to pay for MC, as neither Visa or Mastercard will process if you try to pay for MC with one of their cards, even one that used to work previously. I found Karmakoin will work, but since none of the MC tiers correlate to the cash value on any of their cards, you are inevitably going to lose money if you go that route.Then there are all the predictions made by the islanders that ultimately proved to be true. well, in a short summary then-

The Shawk mastery bundle is what, like 5700MC?
So, in theory, the last MC sales we had, the 100 dollar pack got 5000 MC as a bonus. On it's face, adding a Shawk bundle actually looks really good. However, one must consider the opportunity cost of not having 5k MC to spend on whatever you want instead of shawk bundles. But then again, the bundles are like 50% off everything in the bundle, give or take, so getting the 5k MC bonus in the form of a bundle that has rather discounted items in it already in a sense sweetens the deal.

I MIGHT go for this, even thiough I am not in need of the MC currently, because my pokemech tendancy urges me to buy the shawk hero anyway. Premium time and mechbays etc are always a bonus, the shwk bundle is a pile of discounted things already and I can sell the extras for money to alter my new hero.

Well, with that sorted out( 100 dollar deal is a nice deal) it then simply becomes a matter of if I want to dump 100 dollars into the game or not, at this time, or again at all. Not a cut on PGI, my ISP( Frontier Comm.) gives me an average PING of 350+, usually 425 give or take, and laser vomit meta without improved HSR for the other weapons has been a hard pill to swallow. I have a lot of mechs that can;t load laser vomit and I get sick of seeing AC20 rounds and PPC's etc. fly through my enemies into the dirt hill behind them.

Am I the only who read this and thought.... Why does that mean you wont have money? cause I "blow wads" on my gf all the time and it never costs me a dime.
