You mean XL 390, and thats the only way I run the 3C, and Cent-D, entire lances of lights have fallen to those two mechs, 2 streaks and 4 MLs on the treb, and a little less viable 2 MGs 2 Streaks and 2 MLs on the D. Most fun mechs in the entire game.

LOL, 139kph in a Centurion? I have never seen that. I imagine it catches people off guard.

One of the NGNG streamers, xImpalerx, tried it during a stream and was shocked at how well it played.

Okay just had to chime in on this thread because it inspired me to try a 400XL in my Wubshee 3M. 400XL, 2Lpulse, 6Mpulse, AMS and the rest of the slots for DHS. Pretty much full armour. 75kph with speed tweak, as advertised. I use the Lpulse cooldown module and it pretty much lines up perfectly with the regular cooldown of the Mpulses. 2.5 alphas before overheating.

It really is a great mech to try an XL with because of the meatshield arms. I've tried shielding with those arms for 2 full alphas from other assaults before returning firing (hopefully they've over heated by then). You learn to pilot by looking at the blue and red triangles in your mini-map for those situations.

I don't think it's as competitive as a Banshee with the STD 350 but it's definitely a lot of fun. Deceivingly survivable because you can run for cover while letting them chew on your arm.

Is it viable? More so than I thought. I don't think its better than a 350STD but it's definitely worth keeping for the Lols. It really is a lot of fun!

Edit: Okay I'm keeping this 400XL on for Pug drops. It flanks and tanks like no other.
