I did this with direwolves. But whales are easy... even stock.

This has me itching to dust off my Shadowhawks. Poor mechs haven't been touched since quirks were introduced.

You know suprisingly, heat is not really an issue when you have so few weapons.

the 2K is ice cold since it only has a LRM 5 and a PPC.
the 2D2 isn't very hot either.

even on terra therma I haven't overheated.

I kinda, hate the clan invasion. yes we get all the cool toys and everything. And it's what everyone knows. But 3025 is simple, easy to learn, and has relatively good balance.

It's part of why I was SOOO excited for Mechwarrior 3015 back in 2009, then, the CnD, and no publisher would pick it up and... and...

Damn it I just want my 3-4th succession war era game!

I play all my mechs stock for over 8 month now. And i still manage to get around 2 -5 Kills a match. Honestly for me customizing is just a crutch. And meta is the crutch's crutch. Good pilots make due with what they got on a mech.

I'll do one with you, Brody. I been playing my CN9-AH stock in some pug matches this week and considered mastering Cents. I'll probably be slow at it, but I'll post updates and any epic matches in this thread with you^^

It's community group that runs stock matches every Monday night 9:30PM Est. On one of the last pages Ovion posted a really nice list of all the stock 3025 'Mechs that are allowed. It's a refreshing change of pace!

awesome, centurions are super fun mechs, though only the D goes fast stock.

I knew that people had a stock mech party, I just think its a bit more challenging and fun to go pugging in stock, since you get to fight all kinds of builds, meta build, decent builds, maybe stock builds, and the most fun the builds that are worse than stock.

almost basic'd them out so far, instead of 2-3 matches getting you a few skills, its like 2-3 matches gets you one skill.

At Terra Therma a JJ's alone can raises heat 9% in my VND 1X.

I got my A and my AH through Basic, probably gonna buy the 3rd variant tonight and start plugging away. I really love the A and it will probably become my go-to mech for Stock Mech Mondays. Some lurms to harass at range, medium range AC10 in the arm, and two ML in the CT with a STD engine is golden. It's a little slow, but I always feel mildly useful in all situations.

I haven't had any incredible matches, but every so often I get a couple kills and around 300 damage which I think is pretty good; for me piloting it at least. I think this experience will help me improve as a player in general, playing with such a handicap really makes me think about everything I do more.

Would have to check Inventory. Not sure I have a Stock chassis at this time. My Stock Monday unit has been thusly converted...

Just run Stock. Or do you need "everyone" to be Stock to make it "fair"
