can't seem to find any relevant information. when i first started playing, there were several regular mechs availible at a sale price. i don't see any now. can someone tell me if they have regular sales or what the deal with that is. i just need regular mechs at the moment.

The faction c-bill(grindable currency) sales are very random and have occured only couple of rotations.
Hero mechs sometimes go on sale,i personally check the sales always from smurfys main page http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/ they will appear above the mech list,with little or no delay,keep in mind its a 3rd party website,it shows all the sales.

Most weekends there is a sale reducing the MC price of Mechs, occasionally it will also reduce the cbill price of Mechs, or MC/cbill price of cockpit items, modules, paints, pattens, XP/GXP conversions ect.
this weekends "sale" is when you purchase MC you get something extra thrown in, full details here:

Sales are random in content, but predicable in that they usually have something on sale Fri-Tues. No one knows what it will be until the announcement.

PGI has been having faction specific mech c-bill sales about every half year this past year. As there are 6 factions, with 1 faction a week that's 12 weeks of sales already. In addition they sometimes have c-bill sales on a different theme like they had for the first 4 mechs that were released with MWO back in Beta (that's where I got my Catapults).
