madpuppy ... its so weak u cant even brawl in it ... why have armor on it when the side torso gets knocked out in seconds


the best way to play this mech is pack it with lrms and strip the armour

First off, thought you only played mediums? Secondly, I thought you were going to quit?

But on to the Mad Dog, remember she doesn't have max armour stock, you actually have to up it. I run two versions of the Mad Dog, one is 6x cLRM5 with 4x cERML and TAG, the other is 6x cSRM6 with 4x cERML. The 6x cSRM6 have taken out King Crabs with dual AC 20's in brawls, but you have to use mobility and have good aim.

You also have to remember that with the Mad Dog you will lose a ST, when its gone use it as a damage sheild for as long as you feel comfortable, before iseing your other ST till you die.

You have to play the Mad Dog with a little out of the box thinking. And be a little ballsy with it to get into cSRM range.

I never said you have bad aim, and I never said you don't know how to build a mech.

I may have gotten lucky against a King Crab the first two times, but after the 5th I don't consider it luck anymore. This is in group and CW drops by the way. Now you asked for help, and I offered it, if you don't want to listen to it, that is your choice.

I don't think my ELO matters when I'm dropping with people like Coffeenail, Tanore, Hikagi, and several people on the CGBI comp-team. I know I'm in the bracket where you just don't see LRM's that often, the last few times I've been on caustic, there have been 0 LRM's in flight.

and I've seen him in a few matches, and just had a pug CW drop with him....so I'll say... He Knows How To Play.

i didnt say hes a bad player ... he was just lucky .... i just saw to many kingcraps that didnt know how to aim so i assumed he fought 1

Haha...I know how to play better than yourself probably. I do however run weird, silly, and downright ridiculous builds though in pub matches just for fun. Sometimes I pull 1000+ damage, sometimes 100, all depends on what I'm running and if i'm playing to have fun, or trying to accomplish something (such as the events).
