I was invovled in the beta but I'm coming back after a great deal of time away. I've purchased a mech (NOVA - B) and I want to add an AMS to it, but I can't figure out how to do it. What am I missing? Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Does the omni-pods you have equipped have an AMS hardpoint?

Nova has the potential for 3 AMS
As clan omni-mechs can swap parts between them
(everything but the CT - which is what tracks which variant gets the XP)

So you would need the NVA-A LT and RT as well as the NVA-S CT for all 3
(The NVA-A LT and RT being able to be put on any NVA variant)

@Hound: Just buy a different CT or side torso pod. They are only 229K, pretty cheap.

Or, you could save up for the other 2 mechs, assuming you're going to master them all.

You have to swap the RT Omnipod for the A with AMS in it. You can add this to any Nova

In my experience you're better off using the sidetorsos with weapon hardpoints ( S, B and the left torso of the A ) so you won't be defenseless when you inevitably lose the arms.

RT or LT according to Smurfy
And the LT comes with another E hardpoint

Are those the new variants? Cause I'm pretty sure there was only a RT one...and I think a CT one? I own the Novas, but haven't touched them recently.

Edit: Ok I'm limited to the Prime, B, and S variants and omnipods until the new ones are available for cbills. The S CT has an AMS hardpoint and there is a lone A RT omnipod (not variant) that has an AMS hardpoint. That's it for now.

They added the rest of the NVA-A, but it is not available for Cbills (yet)
Has an AMS in each side torso (no idea why they only gave us the one to begin with)

Take your Nova variant.
Enter the customization menu of the Mechlab.
Click either side torso.
Click "Omnipod."
Choose an "NVA-A" side torso pod.
Bam. You have an AMS hardpoint.

Enjoy.

Click either side torso.

I only see the A pod on the right torso, not the left.
