Well, the problem is that a lot of new users trying to find info about MWO on reddit will just try /r/mwo by default. Heck, a lot of old timers who haven't been around for a while may not even know about /r/OutreachHPG.

I've seen a lot of childish activity over MWO, but they've officially devolved to "I'm taking my ball and going home!"

This seems to be a standard thing when dealing with acronyms, a few examples below

ATM Machine = Automatic Transfer Machine Machine
PIN Number = Persional Identification Number Number
LCD Display = Liquid Crystle Display Display
AC Current = Alternating Current Current
GPS System = Global Positioning System system

and most importantly, but not yet in common use
RAS Syndrome = Redundant Acronym Syndrome Syndrome

One of the mods was caught deleting posts that mentioned the other official MWO reddit (/r/OutreachHPG) as spam. Someone sent him a message saying he'll just PM everyone the OutreachHPG link, and the mod said you can't do that if I set it as Private. The head mod found out, banned the rogue mod, and made the reddit public again. Except now you can safely link to OutreachHPG without worries.

In the meantime, the banned mod has doubled down on his angst and is snarking it up on the OutreachHPG forums in a fit of impotent rage. It's quite hilarious.

Sorry, Heff, target remains. You still have lots of work to do. The r/mwo subreddit is still there for the public and always has been. Maybe it was just *you* that was banned or gagged, if even temporarily? Like on another well-known discussion board?

My question to you is, why do you care? And why aren't you playing the spot-on-perfect CW with your friends instead of trolling?
