Did PGI so far ever roll back a weapon switch in the quirks? I don't think that this will happen.

There's a big preview list on NGNG...

I predict a bunch of QQ from people who¡'s favorite over quirked crutch mech gets nerfed to sane levels.

Perhaps not, but with the AC/2 GH removal test there is some hope... it would make perfect sense to me. My main prediction/hope for the Dragons is the +10% speed, that would make sense for a flanker heavy and has been done before (summoner).

Sure, this is for variants that are not on the preview.

Not sure if that's a prediction or a fact... :)

I think "no change" is the answer then. I don't think they're going to randomly re-quirk every mech.

I predict the Battlemaster getting bad quirks. Oh wait, we already know that. :(

I'm betting that most mechs that weren't included in the NGNG list won't get modified quirks. The Arrow got side torso buffs however, so I bet all blackjacks will get them. Hopefully the BJ-3 gets some improved ones, because as it sits, it's the red-headed stepchild of the series.

That may very well be, I very much hope not... I had just assumed that there had to be others getting quirks since that list does not include variants like (from the top of my head): RVN-4X, no commandos, no victors, no catapults, no dragons (especially the 5N which has horrible horrible quirks, but also the Flame is a bit off... Flame needs generic energy quirks!).

I had also guessed we would get tweaks on perhaps KTO-18, AWS-8V, AWS-PB and perhaps some more and I hadn't been shocked if FS9-S had got a slight reduction in heat bonus....

Dunno, that list is missing so many "obvious" adjustments that in my narrow mind it couldn't be complete. :)

Edit: There are a few more reasons now that I come to think about it. Didn't Russ say that quirkening pass two would focus more on movement quirks? Didn't see any of those in that list... and there is also the psycological game to be played, announce the nerfs first, let them sink in a bit, then release more candy and all is forgiven (and perhaps even a quick-fix or two and say that the preview had a typo  ).

Ugh... I bought a three c-bill Victors and have found them to be lacking. They seem like a sad mech in the era of the clam. Kind of like an old man saying, "In my day, pop-tarting was all people cared about."

I'm really not sure what they are good for now that jump jets are hover jets. The Battlemaster just seems so much better for it's high mounted energy, XL friendly hitboxes, and abundant LRM tubes.

Mostly underwhelming, with some that actually do their job of making their mech viable, possibly to the other extreme.

Logically speaking, Catapults should get more love.

However, a decision maker in PGI hates Catapults.

Sadface. :(

The Catapult is the Rodney Dangerfield of mechs, it gets no respect.
