I like the SIB but its tricky to use as a brawler. It works, but you gotta be real careful.

The SIB makes you work, thats for sure. However I might prefer it as a brawler more then my HKB-4SP due to the jump jets. I find to make the SIB work and you really need to pump those jets and move around.

I haven't played mine in a while honestly, ever since I got the 1AA that's been my Vindy of choice.

The 1AA is a fun mech. I was pretty frustrated with the Vindicator when I first bought the SIB, 1X and 1AA. Things improved after elite and again when I figure out how to play the mech. Its a strike mech IMO, in all instances even brawling. Go in, do your damage and take cover quickly. The JJ are an absolute asset to the SIB in that regard.
