The "arm level" height on the Enforcer's left torso energy is sad, even if it is consistent. I can work with that, but it's certainly not going to be effective as a poptart on its own.

On the other hand, the Panther's arm height seems lower than the Firestarter... which inevitably will be problematic for the ultimate goal/task it has. It remains to be seen here.

Actually, the 2nd energy slot on the Enforcer -4R and -5D left torso is way up on top of the shoulder, where the little red lights are otherwise. Just refer to the end of the Enforcer YouTube video and you will see that.

On top of that, the weapon sorting is fixed, so if you want a PPC on your shoulder, just install a medium laser first, then put in your PPC.

Even the Enforcers cockpit interior seems wrong...

I'm pretty sure I said that somewhere along the line... just saying.

I don't think the panther is going to do very well.

You made it fight an Adder, why? is it because against other IS lights it gets run over?

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it's part of the "Resistance Pack" being marketed towards fighting the clans...

I wanna see it fight a Firestarter or Jenner.

Also if he is going to fight an Adder, Then get a pilot who isn't trash.

If I knew I was going to fight the panther, my Adder would have brought Streaks, and I would have stayed hidden till he got close, get a lock, and shred him in 2 alphas.

I mean even with the loadout he was using, he couldn't track a target to save his life.

I did read all of your posts. You seem to think the Enforcer isn't any good. Be happy that the 2nd energy slot is in fact way high up. There was no law stating they had to give us a good location for the 2nd LT energy hardpoint at all.

I was quite happy to see that it did get a high mounted energy slot. I didn't think it would do that. It was just that much more to like about the mech.

Besides, it isn't the end of the world to have mid level hardpoints, especially on a mech that can jump.

I'm looking forward to my new Enforcers.

I agree that the Adder pilot was/appeared bad. However I don't feel they should allow the opponent to customize their mech to fight a specific opponent in these vids. Keep it more like it would be in a random drop.

more likely to fight a Jenner, Firestarter, Locust, or Raven rather than an Adder to be honest.

I'm not even sure you read the other set of posts I wrote about the Enforcer.

I thought the slowest of the Enforcers would be the new 50-ton overlord (or something like that).

The most criticism I had is with the PGI variant, due to inherent limits of its design. It's not going to fare well comparatively speaking.

The 4 ballistic Enforcer seems sad in a few ways. If you go with the quirked 2 UAC/5 loadout, and use a fairly minimalistic XL255 engine, then you only get 6.5 tons for ammo and a backup weapon (lol Small Laser). If you lower the engine more than that, you basically move at heavy mech speeds, so it would make more sense to just grab a heavy...

That's assuming you will keep the JJs for the dual UAC5 build. If you do not use the JJs and shave off armor from left arm and the legs and use 245XL for respectable 87kph max, you can fit 8 tons of ammo + 1 SL. 4 tons per 1 UAC5 generally lasts the entire match from my experience.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...2b10172dc4ca772

What really breaks the mech though, despite the fact it has one of the best UAC5 quirks, is the fact that the UACs are spread out between 2 arms. Can't do hit-n-fade with that.

Now, why the hell did PGI give it UAC5 heat reduction quirk? That makes zero sense! Waste of quirk slots!

How much armor did you shave?

I think that "Centurion does it better" will become the new motto for the Enforcer.

Late ninja edits are ninja.

In terms of the build itself, that arm stripping wouldn't actually work in the game because you have one gun in each arm. You can't put them on the same side because of LAA. Also, long-legged mediums tend to get hit below the waist a lot... I'd honestly rather skip on the quirks and use something like 2 AC/5 and somehow cram in an ERLL.

The reduced UAC/5 heat quirk is pretty dumb though. It's about as bad as the Summoner's -15% ballistic heat left arm.

Alternatively, you can build it like a half-sized asymmetrical AS7-D, with half the weapons. 1 UAC5 on the left arm and 1 large class laser on the left torso slot. They are virtually resting at the same spot. That will take care of ammo, and mobility issue.

That in-game model of the Enforcer is one of the most hideous mechs I've ever seen. Worse than almost any art in Btech history. Will likely be asking for a refund on this package.

The view from insane the Enforcer cockpit is just as horrible as the malformed nature of the head compared to the concept. The concept's cockpit view look promising, interesting even...But THAT?

Never mind just the head anymore, the Enforcer requires a full rework in visual quality or I'll never spend another penny on this game and lobby every other player to do the same. If we don't stop this, whats next? The Clan Urbanmech, but its just a rectangular box on low poly legs?

I'm being completely series here too, I actually vomited a little bit in my own mouth at seeing the Enforcer's terrible, single massive front window.

So does the Phoenix Lolcust. The rollbars are HORRIBLE in a mech that fast
