Map idea. Create a map which has a blue sun so that various tones of Blue are all you can see. Imagine a map set in the style of Pitch Black, just with out the cool bald dude and the things that will nail you if it gets dark.

There are known (read real) colours for the verse we live in.
- The BattleTech verse was designed around what we knew and some SiFi mixed in.

That being said, here's what are the known types.


Now knowing what is possible does not translate into making it available in-game.
- The artists would need to change every object to allow for a blue reflected light image.
- What we understand as reflected/absorbed light will alter everything that is set in the game now as it's default colour.
(but only on this one map you propose.)
~ requiring everything to be colour shifted just for this instance. (quite a bit time consuming, just for eye candy)

I'd just be happy with slight changes around the yellow, white, orange star systems. Within this Lore verse, the people settled on similar planets that allowed for similar crops and agriculture to be produced. That basically set if the system was habitable or not.
- Special research or military establishments could exist on 'unsuitable' locations, that might include the blue shifted stars, but it would probably be rare.

Note here:
PGI did say they were working on 'time of day' changes for maps, so we could see one map played at sunrise and fought again at noon or sunset. Dynamic, probably not effective, unless the spin cycle/rotation is really crazy.
