I'd like to be able to sell my gift mechs, the atlas S, king crab, and centurion AH. It's not that I don't appreciate the offer, but I now have 2 of each and rather than a second copy I'd rather strip the extra copy down for parts and c-bills and have an empty bay left over.
Is there any way to make this happen?

There is. Go to your "Home" screen in the game client. On the left menu, you'll see "Inventory". There you can sell what you don't need for C-Bills, only at 50% value.
If you sell a mech, you're left with an empty garage slot.

Gift mechs cannot be sold. They're gifts, and come with their own mechbays, so they don't occupy any space you previously had. If it seriously bothers you, send an email to support, and they may be able to remove them.
Or, keep one stock, and join the Stock Mech matches that are rummaging around these parts. Just saying.
