With these Panthers poptarting all the times, it feels like the Victor and Dragon Slayers when they shortly get introduced.

Dont get me wrong, but I suspect there will be a nerf within a few months.

Panther is little jewel.
The only down side is lack of 9R PPC additional heat quirking and placement of (ER)PPC. First one should go on side of the arm, second one under arm like now, Panther would be so much better with those minor changes. Current wall under the arm is ridicule and hurt this chassis very unnecessary.

So far So good I am enjoying the panthers but have only taken the enforcers out for a spin or three.
Stock builds blow tacos but the Panther-10 250xl 2ml 2srm4 is fun but the Panther-9r 250xl 4ml 1 srm4 "JOY" this is good mech. Have not done much with the 8z yet.

These Panthers are no firestarter or spider or jenner, they are different and need to be played differently but do well in there role. would greatly love to raise the arm to shoulder height but its fine.

10/10 would buy again.

I've gotten builds for the 5D and 4R I am very VERY happy with. Its the 5P Enforcer I'm having issues with. I will have to try a variation of the AC2 build I saw floating around.

3xAC2 seems to be the golden number. You can carry 525 rounds for the AC2s, keep 2xJJ, and keep most of your armor with a XL255 for optimum heat efficiency. (Which you'll need)

I am thinking about it, but then I would likely lose my Heavy weapon, not something I want to do.

I don't really see why the 3 ac/2s is better than 2 quirked UAC/5s. What's the thinking on this change?

I can't really come up with an alternative build to 2 UAC/5, so I'm curious.

Unless you're pairing an AC10 with other front-loaded pinpoint damage, it doesn't do enough for the pinpoint to matter (unlike an AC20). The LBX is lighter, smaller, more accurate (although less precise of course) and cooler. Neither are really awesome weapons, but the LBX is better if you only have one.

For people with bad aim, the LBX is always better.

Also, higher ammo capacity. I've become a huge fan of the LB10X with the cooldown module. Cool, near constant fire, and since I'm focusing on legging, the spread and fast fire is actually OPTIMAL, not a draw back.

Another 'also', I tend to do a lot of laser+SRM builds. As a result, headshots are not something i go for often.
But with the LB10X on the ENF, i simply hold my reticle over the enemy's "face", hold the fire button down and get numerous headshot kills from 0m-500m. It's neat. With the articulated arm, i'm not even facing the enemy and can jump around like crazy.

Except that they have only 1/3 of the upfront damage, with slower projectiles (even with quirks counted), and less armor, while fighting against enemy mechs that are faster/tougher/stronger (quirks and/or Clan equipment)...

Me neither, until the Enforcer. After a year of play i had just 17 headshots according to the achievement tracker. In the 2 days since the ENFs arrived, that's jumped to 31.

I look for yellow heads on the paper dolls, splash my lasers over it a couple times and hold down the LB10X over their cockpit. After a few seconds, BOOM HEADSHOT.

Running my 5P with 2xAC5, 2xMG, 1xML, 2xJJ, endo, ferro, 265XL. At first I ran 4 tons AC ammo and 1 of MG ammo, but the AC ammo was a little too tight, so I cut the MG ammo to half a ton and tossed in another half ton of AC ammo. Able to land solid hits at range and is a solid little dogfighter in close with the jets and arm mounted weapons.

Has anyone else noticed the Enforcer legs tend to take more damage under LRM fire than the rest of the mech, or is it just me?

I thought of starting a new thread discussing this, but I don't like to cry wolf.

I love my panthers, the enforcers are a huge dissapointment to me. Every variant can be described as "just like medium mech xxx but not quite as good".

I usually have to wait for them to shut down. The D / LBX is my weakest so far; I ended up going dual UAC on the P and did fine.

The other I'm running w/ AC10 and 5ML and find it very suitable for me. It's a lot like the HBK but jumps and is oddly more sturdy in some ways.
