Been trying to let Russ know on twitter that there's issues, he mysteriously stopped responding once they were brought up.

I know people are busy, it's the weekend...but when you hold a weekend event, and a large number of players are experiencing performance issues related to a hotfix that broke something...you'd think we could get some kind of response from someone, in some way involved with PGI.

Even a simple, "we're looking into it" would be nice.

Instead I got told I was the only and first one having issues...The patch feedback forum reads differently.

Give them time. I also suspect that he/they may not have looked into the forums since the hotfix. This would make his statement true, as he did not know of anyone else expressing any issues (yet).

It's the weekend, nothing's done on the weekend. I don't blame them from the pounding they get during the week. Let's watch and see what happens by Tues.

I understand it's the weekend, but what I will never understand, is why a game company, that runs events on weekends, would have so many staff off during those weekends...

In restaurants, you're often off Mon-Tues, since the weekends are busy times, same goes for online games. You'd think you'd if anything want more staff on during an event, since the server population is higher, to deal with the inevitable problems to crop up. Especially after a series of hotfixes that broke aspects of the game, fixed some, and broke others again.

It's just frustrating to have no support during an event, when we know we could finish it a lot easier, and have a much less stressful experience, if the support was there, problems were addressed.

I'm not trying to be too hard on PGI, trust me, I've actually been really, really happy with the way they've been doing things lately, I think a lot of people have. I was thoroughly enjoying finally having the FPS to play the game as others do, spent money as a result, and then within a couple of days a bunch of stuff went downhill.

Like I said, it's just frustrating because of the event. I have premium running, but have no desire to play with the FPS issues, but will need to anyway if I want to complete it. If it was a normal weekend, it'd be a lot less of a big deal.
