What I'm suggesting here is that we allow the people who tend to drop in two man groups to be included into solo search play, aka PUG (pick up group / gaming?) que.

*Its often a very long wait to get a game while in a two man group because its not very easy for the servers to match a 2 man group up with 10 others players, but particularly its becomes a problem when the mech composition of the combined team has to meet the prerequisites of team composition (3 light 3 medium 3 heavy 3 assault).

*Often times when playing in a two man drop group, you get team'ed up with a 10 man, or other large player groups. And often times, they have a preset battle plan, that does not easily benefit or integrate with your two man mech configuration / tactics.

As a very common two man drop group player, it's my opinion that including two man groups in PUG'ing would be a quick easy way to increase speed of drops and enjoy-ability of 2 man groups!

NOTE : I feel I should clarify, what I'm suggesting is that two man groups be included in BOTH the team que and the solo que. Having 2 man teams only in solo que would make it impossible for 10 man groups to play of course. However its often a long wait to play in the team que in two man teams for the reasons I explained, this would speed that up significantly.

No.

The whole point of Solo is that is makes for a more granular skill matching experience. That is, it's easier to match players with similar Elo scores.

I drop in 2-3 man groups all the time and the wait time is not that bad...at least not bad enough to ruin the Solo queue by adding 2-mans.
