Hi, before I begin i need to say some things:

a ) I'm from Argentina, currently living in Paraguay, and my primary language is Spanish, so sorry for any kind of grammatical mistakes.

b ) I do not know if I am posting this on the right sub-forum, so if a mod sees this, please move it to the correct one.

So, now that those points are cleared...
I have been trying to move MechWarrior: Online from a Laptop that can not run the game, to a PC that I know it does on minimal specs. I moved the files, ran the launcher and then when I click on the Launch button, an error appears telling me that "XINPUT1_3.dll" is missing. If I force the launcher to 32 bit mode, it will tell me that there are missing .pak files. None of this is possible, because I have the lastest DirectX 9 version, my video card drivers are updated, the visual studio runtime is also updated and I am 100% sure, no .pak files are either corrupted or missing since I moved these three times just to make sure.

Is there an actual succesfull way to move the game from one PC to another one?

In case you are wondering, why I do not just reinstall and redownload the game, well, I am living in "Hell on Earth" right now, literally, the temperatures on this country reach 46 degrees Celsius, even on midnight, I have no Air Conditioner, my Internet service offers me 1 Mb/s of download speed (real one being a maximum of 150 Kb/s) and I do not really trust the Electrical service on this country, specially after they cut down the service 3 times in a row creating spikes of voltage in the outputs of the house. So all the elements necesary for the PSU or the CPU to blow up are here.

Try the MWO Repair Tool. If that does not work you will need to re-install. It happened to me, except for the missing .pak files, and I had to reinstall.

MWO Repair Tool did it, although the game on the laptop is fine :/
Thanks anyway.

dude 46 C , that's like 114 F .... damn. If it was that hot where I live I'd seriously save money and invest heavily into a big AC unit. Where I live it is usualy any where from 30 C to 38 C in the summer ( aobut 80F -100F). damn i'd mail you an AC if I could.

Right now it's bee cool where I live lately, of course we are stil in the late winter early spring time here. it won't hit the hot season till april or may.

If you are getting that error your directx 9c is not up to date or the file is corrupted.

You have the choice of using the dxwebsetup above, a small initial download then it scans/downloads the needed files. It does not check for corruption/etc.

Large download (keep in safe spot), unpack it to a good location then run the dxsetup file. It will install all files again. This package may be on gaming disks. Note it is June 2010.

Do not download the individual file from from another website as you are more likely to be hit with malware/virus or other issues.
