I apologize if this is answered elsewhere, but my searches have not supplied me with any answers.
Was just wondering if there was an actual maintenance schedule somewhere. Or someplace on the forums where they announce when maintenance will happen and how long they expect it to be.
As a single dad my playtime is very limited these days, so having a clue in advance about downtime would help planning a lot.
Thanks in advance all.

Thanks a lot.
Have thy stated how long they expect the downtime to be?
If its going to be significant then I'll probably log back into H1Z1.

this is a common thing....i would not even bother playing for a few days after patches if i was you and my game time was limited.
Hotfixes are almost GUARANTEED! They have to fix broken things more often then not. I think i have seen ONE (1) patch that was successful and did not need at least ONE hotfix if not multiples.
They are up to 2 broken things already on this one....It sucks but honestly if you are pressed for time when patches come around i'd just stay away for a day or two. Nothing like just getting patched only to see "SERVERS GOING DOWN IN 10 MINUTES" which usually is the straw that breaks the camels back and i go play something else.
Maybe I will get a chance to play tomorrow....already 8:30 pm here and still under maintenance.

Man, like I stated before. I'm a single dad who also (Via Fatherhood) been forced to become a recovering gamer junkie.
Back in the day I used to work 16 our days and come home to game for 5 hours and go straight back to work.
Nowadays 2-3hours uninterrupted gaming I like a Christmas birthday. So I have a whole list of games goto when possible.
H1Z1 is fun, but very involved. Need to pay attention to sound and its intense.
I played DayZ standalone for a long time too, and it was similar.
Have you tried H1Z1?

I hear ya.
Two "Mini-Me's" have made me very patient, plus 25 years of gaming doesn't hurt.
I'm very chill, and have other gaming options.
