My best two brawlers:

KGC-000B, also works on the KGC-0000

KGC-0000

Otherwise for the KGC-000, for a brawler I like either 4-AC5 + any back-up weapons you want (2LL, 2AC2's, SRM's, LRM's) But it requires an XL engine. Or this if you don't mind using LB10X's: KGC-000
