I've found a very annoying bug that forced me to restart my client more than once and die really fast, and also found how to fix it so I thought I'd share.

Turns out that if you manage to switch your keyboard input language while your throttle key is held down, it will become stuck no matter what you do. Pressing stop or reversing will not stick and the throttle will just go back to full (either forward or reverse depending on the direction you were going).

This of course only affects the ones that use more than one language for their keyboard in Windows (i.e. English + native language), and have the Switch Input Language hot key set to keys you're using in MWO (i.e. Left Alt for Push-To-Talk and Shift for Arms Lock).

Steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Add a second keyboard language in Windows (I have French and English, English being my default)
2. Set the hot key to switch input language to "Left Alt + Shift"
3. Start MWO in Fullscreen mode while in English language
4. Launch a game in the Testing Grounds
5. Hold your Throttle Forward key down (W)
6. While W is still held down, press the "Left Alt + Shift" key sequence (Left Alt down, Shift down, release both). This should trigger a keyboard language switch.
7. Release W.
8. Try to stop (X) or reverse (S), and notice that the throttle just goes back to full.

Steps to resolve while in a match:

1. While the issue is happening, simply Alt-Tab out of the game
2. Alt-Tab back in MWO
3. Press X or S to stop or reverse, and notice the throttle is now unlocked.

Step to resolve permanently:

Either disable or change the Keyboard Input Language hot key to something you're not always using in-game.

I've opened ticket #159990 for this, but haven't received a reply from support yet. I will update this thread when I do.
