file:///C:/Users/Igor/Desktop/New%20Bitmap%20Image.bmpSo... Still losing AC20 the second my torso flashes yellow after losing armor.

Weren't those structure quirks supposed to rectify that issue (kinda)? Or were they done just to appease the crowd?

I feel like it was the latter.
...

Give Atlas, locust's quirks.
(% armor strength for side torsos and perhaps CT)
You say "Oh but that is a small, 20 ton light mech. He deserves it to be useful!!!"

Well, and Atlas is:
- one of the most primary targets to focus fire
- has some of the lowest firepower among assaults
- weak hardpoints
- low arms
- some of the worst, easy-to-hit hitboxes
- slow

Feels kinda fair to me.

Before i get "QQ, Scrub l2Torso-twist, L2P scrub", give me a better one on AS7 chassis:

As a almost pure Atlas Pilot, I don't want any more perks added to my ride. I like how my Atlas punches and how it stands up to attack.

Upload your screenshot to Imgur, mate. Pasting it directly from your computer does not work that way ;).

Atlas and punching, oh the irony ;). Would be cool to get that feature though.

IMHO they need better quirks. Some variants (-S, -DDC) arent that bad but others (like the -K) could use some pretty substantial buffs.
Armor isnt a substitute for speed and good hitboxes. Which the AS7 lacks both.

The AC/20 is a big weapon occupying many slots. There is a high probability that it will get a critical hit, once your armor is gone. No amount of structure will prevent that.

The atlas only needs durability for the torsos, nothing more nothing less.

agreed its still way too easy to disarm. on either shoulder. ive had 1 med laser take all my weapons off of my left shoulder, and it had only just taken my armour off. AND it wasnt a concentrated beam to that shoulder, it was a wild-strafing-under-fire shot. hows that make sense?

Edit: to clarify, 1 med laser took my last point(s) of armour and 3x srms and an ecm. for 5 damage to take, essentailly 4 weapon systems, that each are supposed to have 5-10 health, just makes no sense to me...

Durability Indeed but good heath reduction quirks are still needed to sustain short ranged combat...
