Title says it all pretty much. The pilot looks more like a cripple than a mechwarrior. I almost want a handycap cockpit item to show off my pilots condition. The cockpits look amazing then you see the pilot... Respect lost.

It does indeed look out of place. They need to get Alex to draw some new concepts for that and post the new media asap.

They probably are going to add different pilot models to the game> 5000MC for bikini babe pilot skin.

Lol don't give them ideas pilot model needs to be updated before I'd spend MC on my cripple

The pilot model does need a revision.

It's be nice to have a selection of different pilot models to choose from. Also the texture needs a hi-res version for players with PCs that didn't come out in the 90s.

agreed. the game has been released and the old pilot model looks like {Scrap}. i would like to see the pilot changed sometime in the near future

I'd like to upvote this request - the pilot textures are REALLY oldschool. Like 90s PS1 old.
Such a contrast compared to the rest of the cockpit, which looks decently detailed.
Get on it guys - adds some polish to the game and the idea of purchasable outfts might catchup.

And here I was thinking that a female version would be wanted (so that you could look down at the Tanga and cleavage).

IS pilots need to be more naked, they re by lore described with a beach outfit because of cooling issues.
clanners however have those coolingsuits, because no lostech there.

Dev resources spent on something you can't even see 99.9% of the time? wotm8t?

But seriously, I don't think I ever lay eyes on the pilot model in game, it's only when somebody pulls it out of the gamefiles and plays around with it in Blender that I actually get to see it.

But you see it every time your pilot is pressing switches ? WTF, why is he pressing on a switch even o.O stupid pilot.

Hehe, you mean that time where it forces perspective and won't even let me look at the scoreboard? =P Seriously though, ... not being able to view the scoreboard during startup is REALLY irritating for me.

yes the moment when it breaks the chat, you can't already look on the battlegrid to figure your position out or you can not look at the scoreboard. So at least give us some eyecandy for this forced moment of locked "cinematic"
