Pre orders not working. Tried to place an order twice. Both rejected. Yet both of my visa cards are good. Running out of time. Any help would be very appreciated.

I used PayPal and it went through just fine 10 minutes ago. Not sure if that's an option for you but just throwing that out there.

If you are using a gift card, it is likely the problem. PGI is in Canada, which is considered "international" if you are not also in Canada or using an international card.

Just add the card to Paypal and it will go through just fine.

Clan Wave 1 - $240
24 mechs (6 mechs per class with two of them being the (I) variant)
3 Colors (Invasion)
Cockpit items and Modules do have a value, as they cost MC and C-Bills, but have no intrinsic effect on the game that is special and, well, anybody can pick those up at any point now.
Effective cost per mech $10 (rounding and not including other bennies like Premium Time, early purchase bonuses, etc.)

Clan Wave 2 - $120
12 mechs (3 mechs per class with one of them being the (I) variant)
3 Colors (Invasion) - if you don't have it already, sorry about your bad luck
Up to 12 Colors (3 per Clan Faction)
Up to 4 Patterns (1 per Clan Faction)
Cockpit items and Moduels do have a value, as they cost MC and C-Bills, but have no intrinsic effect on the game that is special and, well, anybody can pick those up at any point now.
Effective cost per mech $10 (rounding and not including other bennies like Premium Time, early purchase bonuses, etc.)

Mad Dog Kicker
Shifts the effective cost per mech of Wave 2 to $8, as you get 3 additional mechs for buying the Man-O-War collection, but you also had to get the Masakari collection as well. This makes the effective costs of both packs together actually $9.25

Clan Wave 3 - $120
12 mechs (3 mechs per class with one them being the (I) variant)
3 Colors (Invasion) - if you have it already, sorry about your bad luck
Up to 12 Colors (3 per Clan Faction) - if you have it already, sorry about your bad luck
Up to 4 Patterns (1 per Clan Faction) - if you have it already, sorry about your bad luck

I am certainly not taking the Loyalty Reward mechs into account either...

Probably should, though. I've purchased all three top tier Clan packs, so not only did I get the Mad Dog kicker but I also got the Anniversary mechs twice. My effective cost is $8.42 a mech. But, honestly, I don't really care about that because I got the packs I did because they had mechs I liked.

Monthly rewards (such as the bonus mechs for pre-ordering in Feb) do not show up on the list under your profile.

I got the Clan III package early (before Feb 28th) as instructed by PGI, so I came up with the money early. Now, PGI is extending this package until March 17th? I didn't have to rush? Please explain?

Will it have 34 tons of pod space, not including ammo?

Possibly... without armor...

Im not so worried about weight as I am Slots. In Mech 4 you could fit Dual LBX 20's (one in each arm) and LBX 10 (right torso if I recall correctly) 2 ER Medium Lasers and 2 tons of ammo for each LBX without having to sacrifice armor (tho i believe you had to remove 3 heat sinks). It just confounds me that if you can fit a LBX 20 on a arm that you should be able to fit 3 LBX 2's on the same arm or say 6 MG's (in a Gatling-gun type configuration or like a GAU-8 [the Gun on the A-10]) since the difference in size from LBX 20 to Machine Guns and LBX 2's would be about the same. But Ce La Vie.. Doubt I'll be able to come up with the $55 for the Ala Carte, so Ill just have to save every c-bill I earn from now until September 15th to be able to get 1. Hell maybe I should pan-handle to get the ala carte.

Honestly, 2-3 LBX10 or just 2LBX20 will be better than 2LBX20+LBX10.

I'm probably going to run mine one with 2LBX10, 2+MPL, a bit extra to take my fancy and loads of ammo, and one with 2xLBX20 and a few MPLs and be done with it. :P

Also, if you're going to scrape and beg to get it, you might as well aim for $90 and get 3 sets of mechs instead of 1.
Sell some blood. (Sell other body fluids?), mow some lawns, enter cage fights and bet against yourself? the options are there, I believe in you!

The reason why I did not include the Loyalty stuff is because not everybody is going to get it, and not everybody is going to get it for the same reason (that is, which packs they buy), because I got my first 3 Loyalty mechs because of the stuff I got early on, and I got the Man-O-War pack because, you know, Mad Dog (and, well, Clan mechs in general). I got the second set of Loyalty mechs because I dropped the money for the max-tier UrbanMech. But because of the way that second Loyalty set was setup, you could get it for anything you bought at the max-level in the time frame. So for me, it was the UrbanMech, but for someone else, it could be Clan Wave 1, someone else Resistance. Too many variables that that stuff could apply to, and I'm not doing that math.

Also not doing the math for the Premium Time, Cockpit Items, Colors and all that other stuff because it's not going to apply to everybody, as that is both tier related and ordering sooner is a better value than waiting for the last minute.

I understand there is added value by including the little bells and whistles, but the fact that regardless of what you buy, that value transfers both to IS and Clans, and when you throw things like colors and patterns into the mix, it becomes a better deal for IS because there are 6 IS factions vs. the 4 Clans.

So rather than add needless complexity, I figure that it would be best to just go '12 Inner Sphere mechs cost $80 and 12 Clan mechs cost $120'

Nah. I will be doing eJag x3 and something 45 tons or less. That thing is just too gorgeous to not use all three...

I have not played either yet, so hard to tell at this point, but it would be shocking if they were worse than the current options...

Dear PGI,

What is this extension on early adopter deadline??? I've made a hard decision to purchase before feb 28. Because 120 bucks is 120 buck at the end of the month (have a 535 dollar salary per month), but I made my purchase, because this is the only computer game that I used to play in the past 2 years, and I love the BT universe and it's games. I made my purchase without knowing how will look the other two chassis. I trusted the designers (and forgive the Gargoyle design), and sad to myself, yes it will be cool. I sad to myself too, that the plus variants worth the rush, and worth the sacrifice IRL. I made my purchase on wave 2 before (in 2014 oct) and now on wave 3. The bonuses are almost the same for both package, the same faction content, the same loyalty reward. Not so useful, but whatever, de bonus variants worth it. No Mad Dog, ok, i can live with it. But with this move, the PGI played with my trust. This was the worst communicated and extended action from PGI. "We don't have as much income on this, as we forecasted, let's extend it for another 17 days." Ok, you can do it, but tell me, are you sure that this action made the PGI a trustworthy game designer? Are you sure that the other "flash" early adopter action will be successful in the future? Are you sure that this move was fair against those who purchased before the original deadline?
And yes, I am a little bit upset as a recent customer.

Russ said on Twitter that he is going to give us early-early adopters something special on top of the extra variants. It may not be much, but it is not the end of the world regardless.

Still waiting on a lil sumthin sumthin for being a 'I didnt pay to Closed Beta Test' user. Nothing Spectacular, just a Purple silhouette in-game where the Founders and other pack purchasers get a 'banner'. But I think that might be the 7th Sign.
