Dear PGI,

The Awesome quirks you had were good. Taking away the range quirk weakened the 8R dramatically. The thing about this mech is that it is so wide. You can hit it anywhere. It cannot hide. Thus it is like hitting the broad side of a barn. This ability to be hit from any distance was well mitigated by the LRM range boost. Also the mech tubes are low and hit terrain frequently thus to be used this mech will be out of all cover many times. This old quirk to range made me willing to play this silly mech and enjoy it. removing this quirk brings the Awesome to sub-par again. The reason is he is so wide with bad mounts. Stalkers are narrow where they aim. Atli have ECM. There is no reason to take this mech without a quirk worth having. The range was one worth having So much so that I purchased a permanent paint job for the mech class. Let me reiterate. I spent real money on painting an imaginary mech because the quirk made it go from zero to hero. Please bring it back and remove the cool down bonus. This I think would be better. Make the barn long range again.
